Aftercare Policy
Your Bathroom Bundle has been carefully selected to provide quality, style, and durability. To help maintain performance and appearance, please follow the aftercare guidance below. Failure to follow these instructions may affect your 5-year warranty coverage.
1. General Bathroom Care
- Ventilation: Keep the bathroom well-ventilated to reduce condensation and prevent mould growth. Use an extractor fan where possible.
- Cleaning products: Only use pH-neutral, non-abrasive cleaners. Avoid harsh chemicals (bleach, acidic descalers, ammonia-based sprays) as these can damage finishes, seals, and surfaces.
- Cloths & sponges: Always use soft cloths or non-scratch sponges. Do not use steel wool, wire brushes, or abrasive pads.
- Water hardness: In hard water areas, clean more frequently and consider installing a water softener to reduce limescale build-up.
2. Shower Trays
- Rinse thoroughly after each use to prevent soap and limescale build-up.
- Wipe dry with a soft cloth where possible to avoid water spots.
- Deep clean weekly with a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner.
- Do not use paint strippers, nail varnish remover, scouring agents, or acidic cleaners on trays.
- Check waste outlets regularly and remove trapped debris to maintain drainage.
3. Glass Panels & Sliding Doors
- Clean glass with a specialist glass cleaner or mild vinegar solution (diluted with water).
- Dry glass after use to prevent streaks and limescale marks.
- Inspect seals regularly: replace immediately if worn, cracked, or damaged to prevent leaks.
- Lubricate sliding door runners periodically with a silicone-based lubricant.
- Do not hang heavy objects (such as towels) on glass panels or doors.
4. Exposed Shower Valves & Fixed Drencher Heads
- Wipe chrome finishes with a soft, dry cloth after each use to maintain shine.
- Avoid bleach, acidic descalers, or abrasive pastes on chrome plating.
- Descale shower heads regularly (monthly in hard water areas). To descale:
- Remove the shower head.
- Soak in a mild descaling solution or vinegar-water mix for 30 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly and reattach.
- Remove the shower head.
- Check for drips or leaks regularly; report immediately if noticed.
5. Wall Tiles & Trims
- Clean tiles with a mild detergent or pH-neutral cleaner.
- For stubborn marks, use a soft brush and warm soapy water, never a wire brush or abrasive pad.
- Rinse and dry tiles after cleaning to prevent streaks.
- Regularly inspect grout lines. Re-grout if cracks, gaps, or mould growth appear.
- Clean trims with a soft cloth and mild cleaner, avoid abrasive powders or strong chemicals which can damage finishes.
6. Adhesives, Sealants & Grout
- Check sealant joints around trays, panels, and trims every 3–6 months. Replace if peeling, cracked, or mouldy.
- Keep areas around sealants dry after use to prolong lifespan.
- Clean grout lines with a grout cleaner or a mild vinegar solution. Do not use bleach, which can weaken grout over time.
- If grout becomes heavily stained, consider resealing or professional re-grouting.
7. Long-Term Maintenance
- Inspect all products quarterly for signs of wear, leaks, or deterioration.
- Replace seals, washers, or consumable parts promptly.
- Use only genuine replacement parts where available to ensure continued warranty coverage.
- If installing new silicone or adhesive, allow sufficient curing time as per manufacturer’s instructions before use.
8. Warranty & Aftercare Link
- Following these care guidelines is a condition of your 5-year warranty.
- Damage caused by improper care, misuse, neglect, or use of unsuitable cleaning products may void the warranty.

- Do not attempt DIY repairs on valves, trays, or glass panels unless you are competent to do so, incorrect work may void your warranty.
